COMMUNICATION for CLEARING

Only the teacher of any given class is authorized to clear a student from Probationary or Ineligible to passing/eligible. Neither the student, nor parent, nor band director has the authority to clear a student. The teacher(s) of the class(es) in question must email the passing status of the student directly to Union’s Eligibility Officer (eligibility@unionps.org) no later that 11:59pm on Sunday night of the week preceding the eligibility-based activity.

OTHER INFORMATION

APPLICABLE TO STUDENTS in GRADES 6-12: Constraints of Academic Eligibility do not apply to on-campus performance activities such as concerts and football/basketball games (Gr 9-12). Even if academically ineligible, all band students are expected perform at all events that take place on-campus, such as concerts and games, as a grade is assessed for participation at these events.
