***AUDITIONING STUDENTS WILL SIGN IN AT THE AUDITIONS ROOM 30 MINUTES BEFORE THEIR INSTRUMENT/GRADE BLOCK OF AUDITIONS IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN (see schedule info below)***

Audition Times
Posted at 8:00am in the North Commons (Winds), Band Room #3 (Room 1613 / Percussion), and also available from the outside room monitors. 

Warm-up Areas
• Winds:  UHS North Commons
• Percussion: Room 1613 (Large Band Room)

Results
Will be posted in the glass windows of the Media Center, which is located in the South Commons

Audition Rooms: Protocols

  • Students will need to remain quiet and courteous in the audition areas at all times.

  • Students should not be hanging out in the audition hallways unless they are about to enter the room for their audition.

Large percussion equipment to be used in auditions will need to be brought to the bus loop on the front / east side of Union High School, where it may be unloaded and then enter into the building via the ramp door. 

EARLY OR LATE AUDITION TIMES

  • Auditioning students needing to request an early or late audition time due to a conflicting activity must coordinate this request through their school’s band director.

  • Requests will be processed by the event headquarters office and the auditions will be scheduled accordingly.

  • Auditioning students approved for an early or late audition time will:

    • Check in at their audition room

    • The room monitor will confirm the request as approved and provide further instructions.
