We are so excited for Union 8th Grade Band students all to enjoy the High School Varsity Football game with the Union HS Renegade Regiment.

Students: make sure to represent yourself and the program well, but most importantly: have fun!
SCHEDULE
5:00pm Arrive at campus vis South Loop (see below). Proceed UHS to Band Room #3. Team Meeting.
5:30pm Dinner served. Bus Loop Lobby
6:15pm Meet in Band Room #3 for Warm-Up
6:30pm Move into Bleachers with UHS Band students for game. Observe pregame activities.
7:05pm Kickoff. Go Redhawks!
Approx 8:15pm Halftime: Union HS Renegade Regiment performance, with Union 8th Grade Band students joining on the field for the Union fight song.
Approx 8:30pm Case instruments in Band Room #3. Dismissal. Meet parents at South Loop area.
PROCEDURES / DETAILED SCHEDULE
Below are some details to help make the evening run smoothly:
Please pull into the UHS south parking lot for drop-off and pick-up. Walk through the breezeway between the stadium and the HS to get to the Band Room. See map below.
Please report to the High School Band Room #3 at 5:00PM in uniform for instructions. Students will then be released for dinner with their HS sections. Dinner is provided by our Union Band Parents Club.
All 8th Grade students should return to BR3 at 6:15 PM for attendance and warm-up.
Bring instruments to Band Room #3. Cases may remain in vehicles if desired. Cases brought onto campus will be stored in the Band Room #3 during the game. Students with larger instruments need to bring home-horns for this event. Percussion instruments will be provided.
The uniform for the evening will be black pants, the 8th grade band t-shirt, and comfortable shoes. It may get chilly when the sun goes down; students are welcome to bring a jacket (black, gray, red, or white in color), however jackets are NOT allowed on the field during the performance of the Fight Song.
The Union 8th Grade band will join the Renegade Regiment on the football field for the Fight Song during halftime which is likely to occur between 8:00PM-8:30PM.
Rides home need to ready for pick-up at the conclusion of the halftime performance, which is usually in the 8:00PM-8:30PM timeframe, in the parking lot / drive-up curb south of the HS (northwest of the UMAC), and is the same location as drop-off.

Parents wishing to attend the game will need to purchase a game ticket. Employees of Union Public Schools get two free tickets to home athletic events. All others need to purchase a ticket at the ticket booth located at the entrance to Union Stadium.
